SCRAP - Santa Cruz Recycled Art Program

The Santa Cruz Recycled Art Program (SCRAP) offers selected artists access to the waste stream at the City’s Resource Recovery Facility on Dimeo Lane.

Artists spend 4 months gleaning metal, wood, paper, and just about everything imaginable to make art out of. The finished art is then displayed in a month-long gallery exhibit.

The 2018 show will be returning to the R. Blitzer Gallery, opening on February 2, 2018.

SCRAP began in the fall of 2016. SCRAP, run by Santa Cruz City Arts, does a call for entries twice yearly, for it's gallery shows. Please keep in touch as we grow this wonderful program and check out the information and video below!

CALL FOR POETS & WRITERS

We're excited for this addition to our SCRAP art show. This year in February is also the County wide "Spoken Unspoken" theme for exhibitions–come be a part!
